HORT 201 - Principles of Horticultural Science

The basic principles of plant science and the environment that apply to horticulture: survey of the industry; plant taxonomy, anatomy, morphology, and physiology; environment and plant growth; plant propagation, pest management, and plant breeding.

Note
Three hours lecture and two hours lab a week.

Requisites
Recommended prerequisite: High school biology/botany or concurrent enrollment in BIOL 198.
