AVM 400 - Composites

Credits: (4)
Introduction to composite materials in use in aircraft production; emphasis on repair procedures. Development of composites, a description of each type, the different quailites of each type and hands-on repair projects; repair techniques, such as vacuum bagging and hot bonding. Discussion of installation of antennas and the bonding procedures.

Requisites
Pr.: AVM 152 and AVM 231; or MET 231.
