ARCH 348 - Structural Systems in Architecture ICredits: (3) Introduction to statics; force analysis and the study of forces in equilibrium; principles of statics as applied to the study of simple elemental structures; the origin, the nature, and the action of loads on structural systems. Instruction in the use of statics in the preliminary stages of building design.
Note Three hours lecture, two hours recitation a week. For ARCH and IAPD students.
Requisites Prerequisite: PHYS 113 or 115, MATH 100 or higher.
