Admission
Most incoming students have undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering or computer engineering. Students with backgrounds in physics, mathematics, computer science, and other areas are also accepted into the program. These students may be required to complete undergraduate electrical and computer engineering courses prior to full graduate admission. GRE scores are required for all students who do not have an electrical or computer engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program. Minimum required scores on the GRE are: Verbal - 400; Quantitative - 600; Analytical Writing - 4.5. A TOEFL score of 600 is required for each applicant whose primary language is not English.
Applications for international students must be received by February 1 for fall admission and August 1 for spring admission.
