PLPTH 911 - Plant Tissue Culture and Regeneration

Credits: (3)
Plant tissue culture principles, techniques, and applications, with emphasis on plant regeneration from protoplasts and the use and potential of this procedure for crop improvement through genetic engineering. Research-level skills in this area will be taught.

Note
Two hrs. lecture and 3 hrs. lab a week.

Requisites
Pr.: ASI 500, BIOL 500, and one of BIOCH 521 or 755.
