A M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering requires 30 credit hours, and can be earned with either the thesis or report options. In the thesis option, 24 hours of course work and 6 hours of thesis are required. The thesis is based on directed research performed by the student. In the report option, 27 hours of course work and 2 hours of report are required. The report is based on a literature review or design project performed by the student.
