WOEM 560 - Upland Game Bird Management Credits: 3
Application of practices to manage upland game birds in North America to include: harvest management, land management, ethics, laws, species’ habitat requirements, daily and seasonal activities of each species, natural history, socioeconomic factors, and basics of managing a hunting operation.
Note: One weekend field trip required. Two hours lecture and two hours lab a week.

Requisites: Prerequisite: BIOL 198, available only to students majoring in Wildlife and Outdoor Enterprise Management, Park Management & Conservation, Fisheries, Wildlife, Conservation, and Environmental Biology or Biology.
