HIST 935 - Seminar in Modern Russian History Credits: 3
This seminar is a course in which students are expected to study the primary source material for particular topics within a general area of study and to write a paper based on research using such sources. These courses are intended to develop graduate students’ skills in the use of research tools and methods, ability to conceptualize and organize an argument, and facility in presenting research findings. Within the general areas listed below, these courses may focus inter alia upon political, diplomatic, social, religious, intellectual, or environmental history.
Note: Specific topics will be listed in the class schedule for the semester in which they are offered.
