HIST 519 - Science and Technology in the United States A survey of U.S. science and technology from the colonial era to the present, with special attention to how the wider social context, including the role of institutions and government, affected processes of scientific and technological development. Coverage also of the challenges of addressing the social problems that arose in connection with scientific and technological development throughout U.S. history.
