A non-degree undergraduate certificate in Food Safety and Quality requires the completion of 20 K-State semester credit hours of Food Science or closely related courses (transfer credit will not be applied).
Prerequisite course requirements: College chemistry, biology, and microbiology must be completed before starting the certificate program. Additional course prerequisites may exist for elective courses.
Starting Dates
Fall semester begins in late-August, spring semester begins in mid-January, and summer semester begins in mid-May.
