The AAS in Food and Feed Manufacturing degree program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and skills for a successful career in the grain, food, and feed industries. The curriculum is designed to prepare learners for entry or supervisory positions in the rapidly advancing, diverse grain, food, and feed industries. The coursework, in addition to providing a solid technical and applied science foundation for ingredient purchasing, equipment maintenance and operation, and facility management, also provides students with invaluable hands-on learning experiences. This curriculum is designed to accommodate two different types of learners: 1) Current learners working in the industry who would like to obtain their degree online while maintaining their job; 2) traditional students who would like to complete a two-year degree in technical education to join the food and feed manufacturing and/or grain processing workforce as soon as possible.

The objective of the Associates of Applied Science in Food and Feed Technology is to train students in grain processing, flour milling, commercial baking, feed manufacturing, and pet food processing.
