Graduates of the program primarily work in middle and secondary schools, and cooperative extension.
Upon successful completion of all family and consumer sciences licensure requirements and the PRAXIS II content assessment test for family and consumer sciences, graduates are eligible to apply for licensure to teach family and consumer sciences in Kansas schools. See the College of Education section of this catalog for more information on eligibility requirements, admission to teacher education, and admission to the professional semester.
