The certificate in Forensic Studies is designed to expose students to a diverse array of academic fields related to the physiological, technological, and legal processes of evidence identification, gathering, and processing. The curriculum provides students with a foundational level of knowledge in forensics that may inform careers in investigations including law enforcement, risk reduction, internal investigations, human resources, and the like. The certificate includes a diverse assortment of classes from across the university to allow students to tailor their curriculum to their interests.

At least 6 credit hours must come from courses in Category A
Category B (3-9 credit hours)
Total hours required: 15
Students seeking a certificate in Forensic Studies are required to complete 15 credit hours from these courses, at least 6 of which must come from courses in Category A.
