Rural teaching contexts present unique dynamics, possibilities, and challenges for K-12 teachers. Students in this program will explore foundational teaching concepts from the perspective of rural education. They will gain practical insights and strategies for supporting student success through coursework that highlights the perspectives and experiences of practicing rural educators. Students will apply their developing knowledge and skills through a culminating capstone project in a rural school community.
