German Minor

Develop intermediate level language skills in German as well as an interdisciplinary foundation in the culture of the German-speaking world.

Program requirements
The following are the German minor requirements:
- 18 credit hours of German courses at the 200-level or above, including one literature course from the following list: GRMN 521 or GRMN 522.
- You must receive a “C” or better, or a minimum GPA of 2.5, in all courses counted toward a minor.
- Classes for the minor cannot be taken Pass/Fail. Retroactive Credit from KSU does apply toward the minor.
- We strongly encourage students to Study Abroad. While we will accept appropriate coursework taken toward the minor, no more than 6 credit hours of transfer courses may be used for the minor.
