Program requirements
Program requirements
The following are the Chinese Studies minor requirements:
- Requires 18 credit hours including a minimum of 15 credits of Chinese courses at the 200-level or above (“Chinese Language & Culture Courses”) and 3 credits from the approved elective list (“Ancillary Courses”).
- You must receive a “C” or better, or a minimum GPA of 2.5, in all courses counted toward a minor. Classes for the minor cannot be taken Pass/Fail. Retroactive Credit from KSU does apply toward the minor.
- We strongly encourage students to Study Abroad. While we will accept appropriate coursework taken toward the minor, no more than 6 credit hours of transfer courses may be applied to the minor.
Chinese Language & Culture Courses (15 credit hours)
15 credits of Chinese courses at the 200-level and above.
Ancillary Courses (3 credit hours)
3 credits from the pre-approved courses listed below.
