Agronomy Minor

Students enrolled in any primary undergraduate major (or completed, or non-degree seeking student) will be admitted by filing a notice of intent with the Agronomy Department’s teaching office. Intent to complete a minor should be filed prior to enrollment in the final nine credit hours of course work. No more than seven hours of transfer courses may be used for the minor. Prerequisites and requisites associated with courses for the minor must be followed.

Program requirements
To earn an undergraduate minor in agronomy, students are required to complete 16 or 17 credit hours consisting of the following courses: Choose from the following:

An additional 9 credit hours of agronomy courses numbered 202 or greater (not including AGRON 405), selected by the student in consultation with an agronomy advisor.
