Music Performance Minor

Provide opportunities for students to participate in performing ensembles across the campus, take studio lessons, and explore the processes of musical performance.

Program Requirements (11 credit hours)
Students completing the Music Performance Minor should complete Music Theory 1, four (4) credits of ensemble participation, and four (4) credits of private instruction.
Theory Requirement (3 credit hours)
Music Minors must complete Music Theory I
Major performing ensemble (4 credit hours)
Private Lessons (4 credit hours)
Music minors must complete a minimum of 4 credits of private instruction on their primary instrument.
Guided electives (8 credit hours)
- Any 8 credits of the courses listed below
