Admission Criteria


Any student admitted to Kansas State University who wishes to declare a Secondary Major in Dance and the Human Experience will be accepted into the program.

Interdisciplinary Intro Course: (3 credit hours)


Dance Production (0 credit hours)


DANCE 502  – 3 semesters. Students must perform in a formal concert for three (3) semesters by enrolling in DANCE 502  for 0 or 1 credits. One of these required enrollments may overlap with the “Dance Core” requirements listed above.

Dance Electives: (6 credit hours)


Six (6) credits, including at least one Level III course completed with a grade of “B” or above, chosen from among the following electives:

Interdisciplinary Electives: (6 credit hours)


Choose two courses (6 credits) from this list:

Capstone Course: (3 credit hours)


Total Hours Required: 24
