Pre-Couple and Family Therapy Minor

The pre-couple and family therapy minor is available to all undergraduate students in any college as an interdisciplinary minor. Most programs of study will allow the student to take both a primary major and a minor within the normal four-year academic program of his/her college.
The undergraduate minor in pre-couple and family therapy is a 15-credit-hour program of study which includes 9 credit hours of required courses and 6 credit hours of electives taken from a list of approved courses offered in departments across the university. The minor provides a foundation in couple and family therapy theory and foundational helping skills designed to prepare students for graduate education in couple and family therapy.

Completion Requirements
The minor in pre-Couple and Family Therapy will be available upon the completion of the fifteen (15) required hours. To be awarded a minor, the student must a) not be on probation and b) have a C or better in all coursework applied to the minor.
