The Wildlife and Outdoor Enterprise Management (WOEM) degree program offers students the ability to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree and train them to be professional operational managers for hunting/shooting preserves and resorts, gamebird production companies, fishing resorts and other outdoor experience companies. To create professional managers, this program takes an interdisciplinary approach and incorporates a series of business, hospitality management, natural resources, wildlife and fisheries management courses with training in selected outdoor skills, such as firearms maintenance, bowhunting skills, and wildlife habitat maintenance.

Business or Entrepreneurship Track
Choose and complete all courses within either the 15-credit hour Business Track or 15-credit hour Entrepreneuship Track. The courses below reflect the requirements for the Business Minor and the Entrepreneurship Minor. Students should sign-up for the minor of their choice with the College of Business Administration to fulfill one of these tracks. Business Track (15 credit hours)
Entrepreneurship Track (15 credit hours)
Note: ENTRP 340 and ENTRP 575 required; and choose 9 remaining credit hours. Total hours required for graduation (120 credit hours)
Must satisfy K-State 8 general education requirements. |
