Early Childhood Consultation


The Certificate in Early Childhood Consultation is offered through the Department of Applied Human Sciences and provides an introductory understanding of the unique characteristics in early childhood environments and how to support early childhood professionals through practice-based coaching. This certificate can be completed by degree seeking students at Kansas State University, obtained as a credential on its own (free-standing), as a non-degree, certificate seeking student or earned post-baccalaureate.  This program is offered online only. 

Admission Requirements:


Applicants for the Certificate in Early Childhood Consultation certificate must contact the Director to receive approval for admission. Prior permission is required from the program to take or transfer a class from another institution.

Graduation Requirement:


Students must complete individual program courses with a minimum of a “C” or greater.
