Gerontology is available to all undergraduate students in any college as an interdisciplinary minor. Most programs of study will allow the student to take both a primary major and a minor within the normal four year academic program of his/her college.

The minor in gerontology is a 15-credit-hour program of study which includes 6 credit hours of  required courses and 9 credit hours of electives taken from a list of approved gerontology courses offered in departments across the university. Students must meet with the Center on Aging advisor to declare the minor. All graduating students must complete a graduation clearance the semester prior to graduation.
