EDEL 466 - Supporting Elementary Learners in Reading and Math, Grades PK-6 Credits: 3
Designed to equip future elementary educators to support elementary learners in developing strong foundational skills in reading and mathematics, particularly for students who are exceptional, diverse, and at risk. Topics include: Structured Literacy, the Science of Reading, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies within the context of diverse learners in the regular education classroom.
Note Intended to be required for all undergraduate elementary education majors.
