GENBA 145 - Business and Society Credits: 3
An overview of the role of business in society. Students will engage in a variety of activities including group discussions, practical learning exercises, and case examples to examine the historical, current, and future role of business in society. Students will explore the role that critical thinking plays in forming business decisions and learn about the impact of differing economic environments on businesses. Students will examine the importance of the entrepreneurial mindset in value creation and how businesses generate value for society.
