Topics include assessment of mental health symptomology, using a diagnostic system to understand mental health issues, counseling strategies for working with individuals with diagnosed mental health issues, the impact of common medications used for mental health disorders, techniques for differentiating disordered and non-disordered behaviors, and promotion of mental wellness.
