EDCI 442 - Principles and Practices in Social Justice Education

This course focuses on the core societal pillars of education, employment, housing, and entrepreneurship as means to advance and guarantee a socially just framework that is equitable, reachable, and sustainable for 21st-century modern society. Students will engage in positionality self-audits, build critical cultural consciousness by analyzing societal changes and transformations, develop culturally sensitive practices to question and dismantle policies surrounding bias and privilege, and challenge systemic inequities.
