AAM 801 - Electromagnetic Threats and Mitigation Design for Advanced Air Mobility Systems

Fundamentals of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) for AAM systems and mitigation using analytical and software tools. Emphasis will be placed on understanding and hazard mitigation of electromagnetic (EM) energy coupling processes through various transfer paths to onboard receptor devices. E3 sources to be studied include lightning, high-intensity radiated fields (HIRF), portable electronic devices (PED), and precipitation static (P-static).
