VCS 905 - Zoo, Exotic, Wildlife, and Avian Medicine and Surgery Credits: 3
Study of exotic, wildlife, and zoo animal medicine through participation in the clinical service in the Veterinary Health Center. Problem solving, differential diagnosis, diagnostic procedures, and medical and surgical therapy of non-traditional animals will be emphasized. Annual preventive medicine, medical procedures, and surgical procedures are also routinely performed at the City of Manhattan Sunset Zoo. Occasional medical and surgical procedures are performed in other zoos around the area.

Requisites Prerequisite: Fourth-year standing in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
