MUSIC 214 - Piano Class IV Credits: 1
Reinforces and expands the skills introduced in previous levels: harmonization, transposition, sight-reading, improvisation, and technical exercises continue to be at the core of the curriculum, while introducing new concepts such as modulations, alto clef reading, augmented and Neapolitan sixth chords, and vocal warm-ups. Passing the final exam for this course fulfills the piano Proficiency requirements (MUSIC 060).
