GEOL 503 - Petrology Credits: 3
Investigation of the physical and chemical processes forming igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks and their links to tectonic processes that form the Earth’s crust and mantle. Develop petrogenetic understanding through macroscopic and mircroscopic examination of rock mineralogy and textures.
Note Two hours lecture and three hours lab a week.
