ENTOM 849 - Arthropod Vectors of Human Pathogens Credits: 3
Focus will be vectors of medical/veterinary importance and pathogen-vector-vertebrate host interactions, including those associated with cellular, molecular and innate immune response of insects to pathogens they transmit. Students will be introduced to current research programs and topics of interest in the field of medical entomology.
Note Two hours of lecture a week, plus 2 hours of lab.

Requisites Recommended Prerequisite: BIOL 198, ENTOM 312, and BIOL 450.
