ART 290 - Visual Communication Design I: Typography and Design Principles Credits: 3
Studio design course introducing the formal and semiotic aspects of typographic systems as applied in design. Students implement the elements and principles of visual language to communicate through typography. Topics include characteristics, classifications, tools, and methods for communicating with typography as content, form, and image. Concepts, skills, process activities, and methods introduced in this course are applicable across all areas of design.
