EDSEC 376 - Core Teaching Skills: Secondary/Middle

Credits: 3

Focuses on core teaching skills, including best practices in all spects of planning and preparation, classroom management, assessment, differentiated instruction, collaboration in the professional community.  Includes a required supervised field experience in schools.

Note
Two hours of lecture and two of lab a week.

Requisites
Prerequisite: Admission to teacher education, EDSEC 200, (or AGED 300); FSHS 110 and
Corequisite: EDCEP 315 and EDSP 323.
