DAS 168 - Technical Communication for International Students

Credits: (3)

Addresses the needs of non-native English speakers studying in the STEM fields. Introduces technical vocabulary, conventions, forms of documents, and practices of written, oral and online technical communication in the United States. Grammar and pronunciation support provided as needed. Student portfolio will include a resume, project proposal, memos, technical report, poster presentation, and personal website.

This is not a repeatable course. Retake rules apply when student re-enrolls.

Prerequisite: Placement by the English Language Program.
