The K-State Global Campus works with K-State’s faculty to deliver quality learning resources to learners throughout Kansas, the nation, and the world through online courses, conferences, professional development, and other learning experiences. Location, once a major obstacle for those seeking educational opportunities, is being overcome through effective use of technology and services to distance students.

The K-State Global Campus has a trained staff to help students who have encountered obstacles to traditional college attendance, such as barriers created by distance, employment, physical handicap, or family responsibilities.

Intersession is conducted during the following three-week breaks in the academic calendar: late December to mid January, late May to mid June, and late July to mid August. Annually, many existing and new or experimental credit courses are offered in Intersession, providing students with an oportunity to examine academic areas not scheduled in their current curricula and faculty members with a means to experiment with new ideas and formats for teaching. On-campus, study away, and online or distance classes are offered during Intersession. Students are encouraged to consult with their advisors to determine if a particular Intersession class will fulfill specific degree requirements. Intersession course information can be found online at global.k-state.edu/intersession/.

Evening College

K-State Evening College courses are offered on the K-State campus in Manhattan in 8-week, 12-week, and 16-week schedules between 5:30 and 10:30 p.m. For complete Evening College information visit global.k-state.edu/courses/eveningcollege/.
