DMP 691 - Introduction to High Containment Research Topics and TechniquesCredits: (2)
This course examines the rationale behind the skills and techniques taught in Essential Practices for BSL-3 Research Settings. Students will gain familiarity with case studies, scientific readings, and laboratory practices. Students review and discuss research papers, topics, and practices related to biological agents and toxins appropriate for research conducted in BSL-2, ABSL-3, and BSL-3 Ag facilities.
Requisites Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in BIOL 697, section C.
