Structured one week (45 contact hours) mentorship in a nontraditional veterinary setting designed to promote skills training and awareness of nontraditional or exclusive practice experiences in a private or public practice setting with veterinarians who have completed orientation training and have expressed an interest in training and mentoring veterinary students. To be completed during the first 3 years of veterinary school, prior to entering the fourth year.
