MET 264 - Machine Design Technology ICredits: (4)
Introduction to application and selection of machine elements to design mechanical systems. Covers primary machine elements such as shafts and shaft components, screws and fasteners, welded joints, springs, bearings, gears, clutches and brakes.
Note Three hours lecture and two hours lab a week.
