HN 589 - Professional Preparation for Athletic TrainingCredits: (0-1) This course will provide a comprehensive review of athletic training knowledge in specific domain areas. Students will have a seminar component to review and apply knowledge across the 5 domain areas of athletic training. The domain areas include: injury/illness prevention and wellness protection; clinical evaluation and diagnosis; immediate and emergency care; treatment and rehabilitation; organizational and professional health and well-being.
Note Upon completion of this course, students will be eligible to complete the Board of Certification examination to obtain the license of Certified Athletic Trainer.
