HORT 640 - Horticultural Problems - Fundamentals of Landscape Irrigation Design

Credits: (2)
The goal of this course is to learn landscape irrigation design for efficient use of our water resources.  This course will discuss basic hydraulics, sprinkler performance, plot plans, sprinkler layout, pipe sizing and zoning, and electrical considerations of the design process.

Note
Two hours lecture and two hours lab a week, for the last 11 weeks of the semester.

Requisites
Prerequisite: HORT 550 or two years of irrigation-related field work experience approved by the instructor.
