GEOG 302 - Cartography and Thematic MappingCredits: (3) Introduction to cartographic history, theory and principles, thematic map design, symbolization, map perception, color theory, typography, and digital cartographic research. Laboratory work will familiarize students with the latest cartographic software that will be used to produce a series of thematic maps.
Note The course will consist of two hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week.
Requisites Prerequisite: STAT 325 or equivalent.
