AVT 420 - Aviation Accident InvestigationCredits: (3) This course is designed to provide a general understanding of the methods and procedures used in aviation accident investigation. Students in this course will learn methods used to gather and analyze facts of accidents as well as determine probable cause and contributing factors. Procedures and techniques used to determine accident causes will also be analyzed. Historical accident reports from National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and other organizations will be examined.
Requisites Prerequisite: AVT 340 and junior standing.
