PPIL 416 - Crew Resource Management

Credits: (3)
This course involves using all available resources for a safe and efficient flight. Aircraft crew performance will be reviewed to include the background and philosophy of Crew Resource Management (CRM), communication, decision behavior, team building, workload management and situational awareness. Students will accomplish flight scenarios and self-critique their performance. A turbine flight training device will be used for the flight scenario.

Note
One hour lecture and two three-hour labs a week.

Requisites
Prerequisite: PPIL 114, PPIL 262, PPIL 415, PPIL 425.
