DEN 202 - Amateur Radio Theory II

Credits: (1)
Theory and practice of amateur (“ham”) radio operation. More basics of radio electronics, antennas, FCC regulations, Morse code; successful completion of the course should ensure passing the FCC General class examination. Credit may not be applied toward an engineering degree.

Note
One hour recitation and one hour Morse code lab a week.

Requisites
Prerequisite: DEN 201 or FCC Novice or “no-code” technician.
