Admission to the Architectural Engineering Program OR the Construction Science and Management Program
New students, including transfer students, should submit the standard application form directly to the Office of Admissions. The admission criteria are the same as those for the university and the College of Engineering.
Any student who has completed more than 15 credit hours at Kansas State University in any major outside the College of Engineering may change majors into either program provided that the student has a resident cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better as required by the College of Engineering. A resident cumulative GPA of 2.3 or better is required for a change of major from any Engineering program to either program in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science.
Academic grade policy
* A letter grade of “C” or better is required for all prerequisite courses prior to taking subsequent departmental and non-departmental prefix courses.
* A letter grade of “C” or better is required for all graded departmental prefix courses applied to the degree program.
