Note One credit required for students after one semester of non-performance, two credits required for continued enrollment for those with repeated non-performance over consecutive semesters.

DAS 050 - National Student Exchange Credits: 1-15
Enrollment in this course would be required for students participating in the National Student Exchange program. Enrollment in this course would serve primarily as a placeholder and enable the student to maintain full-time enrollment status at K-State. A grade of I (incomplete) would be posted at the end of each term (semester) of enrollment. Upon receipt of the transfer transcript from the chosen exchange institution, the DAS 050 course and would be removed from the student’s record and would be replaced by a text entry detailing participation in the National Student Exchange program. The actual hours earned would be reflected as transfer credit from the institution attended.

The capstone experience for the Undergraduate Certificate in Nonviolence Studies, includes field placement in a campus or community organization in which student will have a skill-and-research-based experience in nonviolence-related social change project. Projects can be local, regional, national, or international in scope. Concurrently, students will engage in academic readings and class sessions that address feminist and nonviolent approaches to social change, program design, and participatory action research.
