Fitness Professional Undergraduate Certificate

The Fitness Professional Certificate, offered through the Department of Kinesiology, provides students with the tools to pursue a career in the Fitness or Strength and Conditioning industry. Students gain foundational knowledge in the science of movement (neuromuscular, biomechanics, physiology).  Students will also have the opportunity to prepare to sit for a nationally recognized certification from organizations including, but not limited to, the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and the American Council on Exercise. Students will also have the option to learn directly from successful professionals in the field. This certificate is available to both online and on-campus students.
