The Plant Pathology Graduate Certificate provides students and professionals with foundational and applied knowledge in the biology, ecology, and management of plant diseases. This program is designed for individuals seeking to strengthen their expertise in plant health, crop protection, and diagnostic skills without completing a full graduate degree. Students will gain an understanding of plant–microbe interactions, epidemiology, disease diagnosis, and integrated management strategies that address current and emerging plant health challenges in agricultural and natural systems.
This certificate is open to non-degree-seeking students as well as students currently enrolled at Kansas State University. The certificate may connect with one or more master degree programs. At the recommendation of the academic program, students may apply credits earned through this graduate certificate completion towards a graduate program at Kansas State University, provided that all Graduate School policies are fulfilled.
