Food, Nutrition and Health (MS)

The Master’s of Science program in Food, Nutrition and Health prepares graduates to pursue a wide variety of health-related careers.  

Students who have completed a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and wish to receive Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentials can apply to the Master’s of Science Food, Nutrition and Health with concentration in Dietetic Internship (MSDI).

The Master’s of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health requires a minimum of 30 credits.  Three options are available: 1) thesis; 2) report; 3) coursework-only no culminating experience. 

Course Requirements


Of the minimum 30 credit hours required for the master’s program of study, at least 18 hours should be at the 700 level and above.
